Doosan Lynx 220LM

The Lynx 220LM with its 8″ chuck/51mm bar capacity is a fast, accurate and highly productive lathe suitable for every manufacturing environment. It is equipped with a longer bed length and has Driven Tool capability. This has been used in the past for large quantities of production parts, low batch parts and one offs.

2 X Biglia B465 T2 Y2

The purchase of these lathes was a new wave of investment by the company replace standard single turret lathes and looking for quality high performance production machines working with Whitehouse machine tools we decided on the Biglia B465T2Y2
The first was purchased in aug 2017 and replaced two single turret lathes, fitted with two 12 station turrets both featuring live tooling, two y-axis and both spindle having C-axis the difference in both production time and quality lead to a second being brought six months later.
These identical Biglias have tool load monitoring for lights out running and are monitored by Factory wizz allowing us to monitor both machines 24/7. They are also equipped with automated parts catcher which feed finished parts into a rotor rack to prevent parts being damaged.
Daewoo Puma 2500SY

The Daewoo puma 2500SY has a 12-station heavy duty turret which features a large diameter curvic coupling for optimal rigidity of the heaviest cuts.
Every station may be equipped with turning, drilling, milling, tools. the heavy duty 7.4 HP drive motor for each milling station enables considerable metal removal.
The Y-Axis expands the number of applications and types of machining that can be accomplished in one handling on this multi-function turning and milling centre.
